I graduated from SUNY Oswego with a Masters in Licensed Mental Health Counseling in 2015.  Before that my life was steeped in working with; children in my in-home daycare, raising two children, working with those who struggle with mental illness, and providing social-emotional learning and behavioral support in schools.  I have also worked to reunite children and their families in the foster care system.

My mission is to support individuals on their own journey.  I have worked with a variety of lifestyles, ages and stage issues.  I have worked with LGBTQ+ individuals, and children as young as 1.5 years. Adolescents, adults, couples and families.  Through this work, I have learned that understanding how you see the difficulties you are having, and what you want to achieve in therapy is key to finding the way to achieve these goals.  Working together with your vision always in sight is the priority.

I bring to my work breadth and depth of experiences because of my own journey. No one gets out of this human experience without pain.  That is why working with me, you will find I am real with you.  I don’t believe hiding myself from you will provide an effective therapeutic working relationship. I can support you and dig into those scary, shadowy parts that you may have avoided until now This is crucial to the work I do with those who have experienced trauma in interpersonal relationships.  I will support you in fostering a kind and compassionate relationship with yourself.  The relationship you have with yourself is the most important one you will ever have.   I aim to help you to find the authentic you, the real you that won’t judge you.  Being okay with who you are is essential for being okay in all of life’s circumstances.
